Direct experience is understanding without thought. The tracks on this album are created in pursuit of this understanding, quickly improvised with few overdubs and little consideration. In these moments away from the noise of thinking, tranquility and tension unify and disappear into the pure state of momentary existence. The true nature of reality emerges and we come to rest.

All tracks improvised by Ali Berger in a first take plus 1 or 2 overdubs, using the Boss DR-5 and Roland VS-880. The Korg Minilogue was used as a MIDI controller for the DR-5. The VS-880 master output was recorded through the Midas Venice F24 into the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 Gen 2, then mastered and uploaded.
